Here are random facts about me, because some brainiac influencer (I literally have t-shirts older than her, but whatever) said her generation likes to know about business owners. My generation wants those kids to get off our lawns, but, again, whatever.
I am a widow. My beloved husband, Jay Robertson, passed away suddenly (heart attack) on October 28, 2024. I am thankful for the 15 months and five days we spent together as a married couple, and the four-ish years before our wedding that we spent as friends. If you met him, you loved him. He was one of the greatest humans to ever walk the planet.
My shop playlist points to pure schizophrenia: Sea shanties? Yep. Outlaw country? You betcha. '90s rock? Of course. Neil Diamond, Chicago, and Paul Simon? Yes, yes, and yes. Don't forget the random songs from an indie group I heard on facebook and liked. And then there are my pals, Like JD and the Stonemasons and The Rebel Collective. Just like in real life, you never know what the next song will be.
Clearly, I was an English major in college.
I have a regular column about cigars and life in Tavern Players Magazine. After a 2-year hiatus, I'm back in the Fall 2025 issue!
This is not my first rodeo. I imagined, created, developed, and grew another cigar lounge in Mount Washington Valley, and a cigar shop in Littleton, NH.
My dogs control my life and I'm not even sorry.
